Social Media While Traveling

– Change the title to more keyword research etc.

Intro

We often travel a lot around the world, we want to experience the world in it’s own natural way. We want to experience unique culture, food and people. I would categorise those three into Past, Present and Future. I know that this post should have been titled, ‘ The best way to travel to unique places’. But that information all for another post. For now, it is exciting to experience new things. As human beings, we love to share too. I always say that we need to be good listeners, rather than good tellers. We post images, videos and we write about our experiences too. Most of my friends are like that. Their facebook wall, or twitter feed is like a live stock stream streaming all information accross from left to right. But all said everyone has the right to post whatever they want. Just the freedom given to us. Which freedom comes responsibility, but that’s what this blog post is either.

I am talking about the ability to post updates when traveling. You have to remain connect with your tribe, yes even when you are travelling. Why, let’s dive into that for a second. Your tribe looks up to you for content and information. They are thirsty for knowledges and news. Hmm, well you have promise to give that to them. So you have to appear like you are there 24/ 7 educating them and providing them with the best information possible.

I would suggest a way to remain contactable through social media and never be missed, when traveling.

1 Batch update. This means that you collect all the information that you want to put out there and process each one of them one at a time. In this time it shows that you are updating your feed on a regular basis and that you are active on social media. A tool that does it flawlessly in Buffer.(www.bufferapp.com). It can installed on your browser and once you come accross a interesting articles, just buffer it. It then just queues up into a batch of links, that can be posted on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and Linkedin. You can set the time or frequency you want the app to publish the link to the social feeds.

Well personally I don’t mind

Tell everyone:

Whenever you get the chance on accessing the Internet, post a status or a post telling everyone what you are doing. This may be helpful to inform a group of people with information suitable to that particular group. In this way, you can actually stay away from social media without being noticed.
